State of the Nipple 2013: an Irreverent Update

Kudos and congrats to all who survived 2012 and made it safely into the new year. Yes, it's 2013, and we thought it apropos to give you an irreverent update on the State of the Nipple:
  • United States of America: as of today, January 4th, 2013, the female areola and nipple are still banned from being displayed on mainstream media outlets such as television and radio. However, full frontal nudity is allowed in widely released films if they are marked with the 'R' or NC-17 ratings. As one of the largest producers and consumers of porn, the USA is still holding on to its puritanical past by staying snobbish about bare tits. Several legal decisions involving Girls Gone Wild has helped make it more socially acceptable and legal for women to show their bare nipples in public, but public nudity is still either illegal or a taboo in most states. We hold our breath, cross our fingers, and do other things with more sensitive appendages to await the day when America as country and government finally lightens the fuck up.
  • Canada: the "land of the free" is bordered by a more badass society called Canada, a nation grounded from the blood, sweat and toil of woodsmen, Brits, Frenchies and the Dutch. Due to European influences, Canada is more lax about the female body: Canadian courts have consistently upheld the right for women to be topless in public, as these acts are neither sexual or "indecent" under s.173 of the Criminal Code. If it were physically and fiscally possible to high five an entire country and a section of their legal code, we would give them several palm slaps and offer to buy a round of drinks for all Canucks.
  • Great Britain: the Brits have relaxed ever since they stopped ruling the open seas and obsessing over their sprawling empire. Nowadays, you can bath nude on beaches. Public nudity in metropolitan areas, however, is still restricted by local laws.
  • The Internet: this global network we call the world wide web has grown up over the years, but the same cannot be said for "holier than thou" sites such as YouTube and Blogger, which have restrictions on the showing of bare female breasts. YouTube allows nipples and naked tits in videos that have "educational" value, but are more strict on whether a video is "artistic" in its display of topless women. Blogger allows nudity, but only after you click on an "agree" button to get passed an interstitial warning. If you're looking for videos of naked girls doing more than just softcore GGW stuff, check out dailymotion, pornhub, and other porno-friendly tube sites. You can also get extremely high quality photos of naked girls on tumblr. We definitely recommend the official GGW tumblr for free pics of sexy topless girls.
Remember: if women aren't allowed to be walk around topless, then the terrorists have won, and we might as well be living in the United States of Arabia.

Signing off, here's a collection of sexy young hot girls who want to go topless in public, but aren't allowed to because of overly strict laws:
